Work on the genogram in confinement time: The experience of a training group in Italy

This article aims to investigate the peculiar working experience on genogram lived by the group of psychologists enrolled in the first year of the School of Specialization in Systemic Psychotherapy "Mara Selvini Palazzoli"in Milan. Due to the Coronavirus emergency and the restrictive measures put in place by the Italian government, the group we analyze had to face the beginning of the selfknowledge process in online mode, through the video communications platform Zoom. Using the Focus Group technique, we analyzed the participants' experience in the two different working modes: online and in-presence. We especially focused on the emotional and relational dynamics that arose within the group. © 2020 De Boeck Supérieur.
